Preparing for Launch--All Systems are Go!
YAY! Official sketch blog launch! And the first sketch posted? A drawing for my co-worker (and all around awesome dude), Miles!
In preparation for my sketch blog I held a little contest where friends could suggest names for the blog. In the end I wound up using my original idea (I'm a jerkface, I know), but I chose a winner at random to receive a drawing of his/her choice. And what did Miles request? A portrait of our good friend, Octavio!
So...who the heck is Octavio?
We have no idea.
I recently received a phone call and text from a number that I didn't recognize. The text simply read "Hey me Octavio.. chu on." I have no idea what that means, nor do I know an Octavio, haha. But this is what I'm going to assume he looks like. He's like...the abomination produced from the unholy union of The Comic Book Guy (The Simpsons) and Carl (Aqua Teen Hunger Force). And Danny Trejo's massive handlebar mustache. And part Hobbit, due to his ginormous and hairy feet.

Welcome to the Scribble Factory!
Howdy and welcome to my sketch blog! I've been wanting to set one up for a really long time, but for various reasons (most of which are ridiculous) have never gotten around to it--that is, until now!
Although I do have a deviantART account, I generally prefer keeping my sketches, doodles and WIPs (works in progress) separate from the finished pieces that I post there. So that's what my sketch blog is for!
I'll be posting my first drawing pretty soon--just need to scan it and write up a proper intro. And trust me when I say it needs an intro ;) So until then, stay tuned!
